How We Operate

Design

Between each cycle, our team works with local artist and graphic designer to create the spread. Our philosophy is to create impactful and meaningful graphics that tell the story of local people and scenes. Sydney is many things, but it will always be our home.Working with young talent and getting them paid for their work is a very rewarding part of what we do. It is an iterative process, we solicit feedback on what worked and what didn't so we can improve with each cycle. We hope that young artist not only improve on thier craft, but also gain the confidence to do bigger and better things.

Proof

At the start of each cycle our team liaises with local businesses to collect the written copy from each business. The copy is proofed to ensures that there are no mistakes in the final text and to make sure that the text works with the final print layout.During the process we would also provide advice to businesses on whether there are any risks with the offer that is being made. This includes adding certain terms and conditions, exclusion, and "subject to availability" wording. It is possible to include full terms and conditions on our website, and provide customers notice of the full terms.

Print

Once the copy has been finalised, it is all systems go. We convert the spread onto metal plates using a lithographic process, so that it can be ready for offset printing on an industrial offset press.Our team works closely with paper and ink suppliers to ensure that there is consistent quality of our printed material. We do not produce tacky work, anything not up to standard goes into the recycling bin. Our print partners work around the clock to print the large volume of leaflets required for each month's distribution.

Distribution

We have detailed route maps of each suburb, and organises walkers to drop our leaflets to the target suburb. Walkers are equip with GPS applications which track each route. Once a route has been flagged as completed our walkers submit a GPS report to headoffice. In addition to GPS tracker we also employ Fulfilment Officers to spot check certain routes to ensure actual delivery has been accomplished.We deliver 10% more than the agreed household quantity to ensure our customers that their volume has been reached. For Example, if the agreement was 20,000 drops this month we would distribute 22,000 drops.

Feedback

We believe that feedback from both customers and business are critical for the success of what we do. We actively solicit feedback from everyone involved in the process so we can provide a better service. We don't gate keep this knowledge, and are always happy to share what worked and what didn't.
